The Gloss Magazine – Tried & Tested
We’re loving The Gloss Magazine in the Irish Times and even more so, since we were recently featured in their “Tried & Tested” Section!

From the Article:
“THE GOAL Squeaky clean, gorgeously good, blemish-free skin. TESTED A double-edged approach, combining DiamondTome Microdermabrasion with a series of Dermaceutic medical peels, at Renew Aesthetic Clinic. THE SKINNY All our skin care woes cannot, sadly, be solved with one facial. If serious about getting your skin shipshape, proceed with a tailor-made course of treatments. Beware of signing up for set courses of treatments (regardless of the bargains to be had!); the reality is you may not need all the sessions you’ve paid for. This combo suited me – the microdermabrasion polished up my dull skin, while WEEKLY PEELS SLOUGHED AWAY DEAD SKIN CELLS. The speed with which one sees results varies between individuals: all I saw, for the first while, was redness. However, a fresher-looking me materialised after my third treatment. TRUSTED I loved co-owner Sinead Gallagher a former nurse at St Vincent’s Hospital) for her warm, no-nonsense manner but, most importantly, for being realistic: “We have great results with the cellulite and inch-loss treatment Endermologie, for example. But, as with all procedures, clients also need to address their diet and lifestyle if they want to see serious results. No one treatment is a total cure-all.” Renew, 4 Convent Close, Dublin 2, 01 661 9261.”

Renew Clinic Introduce Dermaceutic Medical Peels
DERMACEUTICS – NEW MEDICAL SKINCARE RANGE
Dermaceutics is a medical skincare range for use by nurses and doctors only.
It uses several ingredients, including glycolic acid, salycylic acid and lactic acid. All three ingredients work to decrease bacterial activity in the skin and to dissolve dead skin cells to ensure pores remain clear. It can be used to treat
- Acne-prone skin
- Visible pores
- Dull complexion
- Wrinkles
- Pigmentated spots
- Ageing skin
- Smokers complexion &
- Stretch marks.
A free consultation with a nurse will determine which peel is suited to individuals skin.
Mask Peel consists of 30% Glycolic Acid. Glycolic acid dissolves lipids that hold dead skin cells together which in turn exfoliates the skin. By achieving this outbreaks will decrease and as outbreaks decrease red scarring will also reduce. Good results are achieved by doing a course of peeling treatments in conjunction with a homecare regime.
Milk Peel
Milk Peel contains three active ingredients, 50 % glycolic acid which dissolves lipids that hold dead skin cells together, 10% lactic acid which dissolves dead skin cells and 10% salycylic acid which will act as an antibacterial agent. This treatment is fantastic to brighten and smooth the skin, deep cleanse and tighten pores. 4-6 treatments are recommended with two week intervals.
Cosmo Peel
Cosmo peel is a TCA Peel. This peel is designed to actively peel away the top layer of epidermis. By causing this controlled injury to the skin collagen and elastic synthesis is stimulated. Also post TCA a cosmo cream is applied, this contains Vit C , lactic acid, Vit E and many more ingredients to stimulate, soften, smooth and invigorate the skin. Two peels every 6 month is all that is required.
As seen in Marie Claire, Elle Magazine, Gloss Magazine, Glamour Magazine & Cosmopolitan.
